Every classroom has the following same equipment: two screens, two projectors, and a visualizer (document camera). See the diagram below for the way the projectors/screens connected to the devices.

-
The Projector Control display on the classroom screen is similar to ones we used in BA and Curry Hall. Only difference is the bottom right corner where you see Screen: One, Two, and Span. When you select the Span, both screens function as one screen.
If you want to use only one screen, select screen one or screen two then click on/off and blank/unblank. For example, if you only want to use the visualizer, select screen one, click on, and turn on the visualizer.
If you want to use both screens, select Span. As the diagram depicts, the Span allows you to use both screens for the computer or screen one for visualizer/laptop/video and screen two for computer.
-
The light switches and the screen UP/DOWN control are located behind the instructor podium on the wall.
Each classroom has occupancy sensors that turn on the lights when someone walks in a room. However, you can also turn on or off different rows/sections of lights as they are numbered on the light switch.

If you don’t have a presenter with laser pointer, you can pick one up from the Faculty Support Center.

If you are teaching in large classrooms, you can get a microphone from the Classroom Support Services by calling 565-2691.
