The Department of Finance, Insurance Real Estate and Law trains professionals to successfully manage all financial aspects of a firm and to manage and work within financial institutions. The department offers professional concentrations in finance, financial services, insurance, real estate and economics.

Ph.D. in Finance

The newly redesigned program at college level offers statistics, business research methodology, foundations of scientific inquiry and a college level teaching seminar in teaching pedagogy. Finance doctoral students are expected to enroll in nonparametric and regression seminars, econometrics and mathematical economics. Advanced finance doctoral level specializations are offered by the finance doctoral faculty.
