Dr. Lohr's Research Interests

Dr. Lohr’s research interests are the in the areas of software
engineering, business process improvement, social networking
analysis (SNA), cloud computing, services oriented architecture
(SOA), open-source software development, information security, and enterprise architecture.

While volunteering at Sacred Heart Children's Hospital, Dr. Lohr began her research on childhood cancer and other life threatening diseases of children. This research led her to investigate the incidence rates of childhood cancer, lived experiences of grandmothers who have grandchildren diagnosed with cancer and social networking analysis for those who seek online support.
