Welcome to the Information Technology and Decision Sciences (ITDS) web site. We are one of five departments in the College of Business. ITDS offers Undergraduate, Masters, and Doctoral programs in the fields of both information systems and decision sciences. We also offer certificates at the graduate level in information security, IT administration, IT fundamentals, business intelligence, and Six Sigma. In addition, we have received permission to offer the prestigious National Security Administration (NSA) 4012 Security Certification at the undergraduate level.
The rise of the global workplace and the ever-changing nature of information technology require college graduates who can respond successfully to the challenges created by this dynamic environment. To maintain and improve the quality of its degree programs, ITDS works closely with many of the world business leaders located in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, ITDS students, ITDS alumni, the Information Systems Research Center, and the Center for Quality and Productivity. One outcome of this is a set of degree programs that customize knowledge and skill requirement to market demands, while preparing all of our students for a commitment to life-long learning.
