Welcome to the UNT Student Chapter

of Institute for Supply Management!

 

The purpose of this website is to keep students, faculty, and interested individuals informed of the activities of the UNT Student Chapter of the Institute for Supply Management (ISM, formerly NAPM - National Association of Purchasing Management). The student organization was founded in the fall of 2000 and has been sponsored by the Dallas Chapter of ISM since then. It looks forward to continued growth and development during the 2009-2010 academic year. Students interested in topics related to Operations, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Purchasing/Materials Management, Production/Operations Management, Decision Sciences, and Manufacturing Engineering Technology are welcome and encouraged to become members.

A tentative schedule of activities for 2009-2010 has been developed. All monthly meetings will be held on Tuesdays from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. in Room 330 of the Business Building at the UNT - Denton campus and refreshments are to be served. Please join us for dynamic presentations on various aspects of purchasing/procurement/materials/supply management by business professionals from the Dallas/Fort Worth area.
