U.S. citizens and permanent residents submit application materials to the Graduate Admissions Office. International students with an educational visa submit application materials to the International Admissions Office. These offices determine admission to the University.
The application is forwarded to the Toulouse School of Graduate Studies for approval to pursue a graduate degree.
The application is then forwarded to the College of Business to determine admission into the MBA program and a specific department.
The College of Business Graduate Programs Office will notify you about the status of your application.
Individuals with the equivalent of a four-year U.S. bachelor degree from an accredited institution are eligible for admission.
All applicants must take the Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT). The GMAT score is one of many factors – including recommendations, undergraduate GPA, etc. – that we consider when reviewing an application. Your score must be less than 10 years old. Testing is available through the Counseling and Testing Office (Gateway Center, Rm 140) or call 1.800.GMAT.NOW.
The Toulouse School of Graduate Studies requires a minimum of a 2.8 overall GPA or a 3.0 GPA for the last 60 hours from the students' undergraduate degree.
International students must have a minimum TOEFL score (550 on the written test or 213 on the computerized test) or have graduated from a college/university in the United States.
As general rule of thumb, all application materials must be submitted prior to the second week of July (fall admission), November (spring admission), or May (summer admission). Specific application deadlines can be found in the Graduate Catalog or the University Calendar.
Six to nine hours of transfer work may be applied to a degree plan with departmental advisor approval. Official transcripts listing these hours must be on file with Toulouse School of Graduate Studies. Course descriptions must be submitted to the departmental advisor for approval.
You can begin your program before taking the GMAT! The Toulouse School of Graduate Studies admits students on a graduate non-degree (GNDE) basis. This option is open to U.S. citizens and permanent residents who meet minimum GPA requirements. The GNDE classification allows you to take up to twelve hours of 5XXX level courses before being officially admitted to a graduate program. Once you have taken the GMAT and meet the entrance standards, you may change your GNDE status to the Health Services Management concentration.
