Ms. Pitre’s areas of specialization include business communication and organizational behavior. Ms. Pitre has taught classes in Business Communication, Organizational Behavior, Comportement organisationnel, Fondements psychologiques, and Relations humaines. She has taught in Canada–in French and in English–and in the United States. Ms. Pitre’s research interests have focused on leadership and motivation models, emotion and cognition links, and schemas and scripts. Ms. Pitre is also interested in the psychological phenomena that govern people professional’s life at the individual and group level. Ms. Pitre was a member of the Academy of Management and the World Organization for Preschool Education. Ms. Pitre has published in The Academy of Management Review and in the National Productivity Review and has made presentations for the Association scientifique pour la modification du comportement and the Association canadienne française pour l’avancement des sciences.
