Dr. Lewis A. Taylor, III Professor

Dr. Lew Taylor researches in decision-making, strategy, and
other behavior topics. He serves as consultant to a number of organizations, including General Motors, General Dynamics, Lockheed Martin, The United States Air Force, Wal-Mart, and other private, government, and nonprofit organizations. A former fighter pilot with the United States Marine Corps, Dr. Taylor also served as a fighter/reconnaissance pilot with the
Air National Guard.
Dr. Taylor's publications appear in a number of journals
including Decision Sciences, Employee Responsibilities and
Rights Journal, Group & Organization Studies, Journal of
Management, Journal of Organizational Behavior
Management, and Organizational Behavior & Human
Decision Processes. Dr. Taylor was Chair of the Department
of Management from 1992-1999, Founding Director of the
Murphy Center from 1999-2003, Regents Professor from
2003-2011, and is currently Professor of Management. In
addition, he serves as Visiting Professor at the Purdue
University — German International Graduate School of
Management & Organization in Hannover, Germany.
Dr. Taylor is honored to serve as Professor in the
Entrepreneurship Bootcamp for Veterans with Disabilities at
Purdue University, a national program for our disabled
