The College of Business Administration is happy to announce it's first Distinguished Lecture of the 2005-2006 Season.
Scott Nauman, Manager, Economics & Energy, Corporate Planning for Exxon Mobil Corporation, will speak Friday, Sept. 16 at 10 a.m. in the Silver Eagle Suite C, University Union, Denton Campus.
A native of Los Angeles, California, Scott Nauman graduated from the University of Southern California with a degree in Chemical Engineering. He started his career with Exxon Company, USA, as a process engineer in the Production Department. From 1982 through 1989, he worked in the Company’s production offices in Lafayette and New Orleans.
In the mid-1990’s, after holding a variety of technical and managerial positions within Exxon’s domestic upstream segment, he participated in business development ventures in Russia, Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan.
In 1997, he joined the Company’s international Natural Gas organization, where he was involved in projects in the Middle East and Southeast Asia. From 2001 until 2004, he served as ExxonMobil’s Manager of Gas Marketing for the Americas. Last year, he moved to ExxonMobil’s Corporate Planning Department, as Manager of the Economy and Energy Division. Scott and his wife, Kim, currently reside in the Dallas area.
