DaimlerChrysler donated $12,000 to the Professional Leadership Program, (PLP) on April 12th at their Westlake facility. The money will be used to prepare students for leadership roles upon graduation.
DaimlerChrysler supports educational programs that train future leaders through donations of money and volunteer support. Jeff Gartland, Director of Remarketing for DaimlerChrysler, said that "DaimlerChrysler is very excited to be involved with the PLP program which adds real life skills to the academic training provided to students in the classroom." Tim McRay, Leadership Coach, works at the Westlake facility and volunteers as a PLP Advisory Board member and guest speaker.
