The Professional Leadership Program celebrated the PLP graduation of 50 members on Wednesday, April 15, 2009 on the UNT campus at the Gateway Conference Center. The Professional Leadership Program is a cooperative effort between the University of North Texas College of Business and corporate sponsors in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex community to take students from "backpack to briefcase" by providing students exposure to skills they will need as they prepare for the complex world of employment.

In addition, three members were recognized with program awards. Mina Azharoldini attened the most PLP events and received the "PLP Highest Attendance Award." Melissa Bucher was awarded the "PLP Development Award" and Nicholas Marino, Jr. was voted on by his peers as "PLP Member of the Year."
