The University of North Texas will be hosting a lecture and career planning seminar with speaker, author and generation Y expert Nancy Barry on Oct. 22.
The lecture is free, and will be held in the University Lyceum, which is located in the University Union at 1115 Union Circle, Denton, Texas. The talk will begin at 6 p.m.
After spending 25 years in the corporate world, Barry walked away from the “best job in the world” to share her extensive business experience with others. One of her passions is helping young adults be successful in their careers. Barry is the author of “When Reality Hits: What Employers Want Recent College Graduates to Know.”
Previously Barry served as vice president of community services for The Dallas Morning News and WFAA-TV. She also is a member of the National Speakers Association and National Association of Colleges and Employers. To learn more about Barry, visit www.nancybarry.com.
