EEOC and Department of Management Set to Host Conference on April 29
The EEOC and the University of North Texas Department of Management invite you to be a part of the EEOC 2011 Conference, “No Longer Skirting the Issue: Pay Inequalities for Pink Collar, White Collar and Gold Collar Employees.”
Students and professionals are invited to attend this event, which will address pay inequalities and other hot topic issues from the employer and employee perspective. The event will be held at UNT Gateway Center (Room 4347) on April 29th, 2011 from 9am - 3pm. The registration fee is $75 which includes parking and lunch.
The EEOC will present strategies to increase an organization's competitive advantage, ways to combat unconscious bias and guidelines for optimal job negotiating. This event presents an opportunity for those seeking HRCI accreditation credit ($50 fee for 5 hours/.5 CEU) and time to network with other organizations as well as the EEOC area director, graduating seniors, master's candidates and other professionals. Attendees will receive a resume book of superior North Texas graduate and undergraduate students.
