Profile
Dr. Insley takes pride in being associated with UNT's College of Business Administration. He is especially pleased to have received a University Honor Professor Award, two College of Business Administration Outstanding Teaching Awards, an Educator of the Year Award from the Department of Management, and a Mortar Board Award. In addition, recently he was the co-recipient of UNT's Outstanding Online Teacher & Course Award. Dr. Insley teaches business communication, organizational behavior, and management concepts courses and is a QEP Teaching Fellow. He earned his Bachelor's and Master's degrees from Bowling Green State University (Ohio)and his Doctorate from Northern Illinois University.

Academic Interests
Dr. Insley developed an online business communication course and a number of related corportate training modules. He has authored a bus. communication textbook and supplements. He is interested in the effects of technology on learning and communication.
Non-Academic Interests
Dr. Insley's non-academic interests revolve around his wife and four daughters and serving on a number of citizen service committees for the Denton Independent School District. He also greatly enjoys studying the Battle of the Little Bighorn and the early days of Tombstone, Arizona.
