Enya He is an associate professor in risk management and insurance at the University of North Texas which offers a comprehensive curriculum in its BBA in risk management and insurance program. Since she joined the faculty in 2006, she has been teaching introductory and advanced courses in risk management and insurance and conducting research in the area of firm performance, corporate governance, insurance company operations, leadership and diversity. She serves on the board of directors at the Insurance Industry Charitable Foundation (IICF) Texas/Southeast Division, is a board of director for the Southern Risk and Insurance Association (SRIA), and a member of the Journal of Reinsurance Advisory Panel. She is a member of the American Risk and Insurance Association (ARIA) and the Risk Management Society (RIMS). She obtained her PhD in Business Administration with concentration in risk management and insurance from the University of Georgia , her MBA from the University of Miami, and MA and BA in finance and insurance from the Central University of Finance and Economics (Beijing, China). Her passion is developing talents and helping bridge the gap between business and education.
