I grew up in Corpus Christi, TX, and hold a B.A. in Psychology from Ouachita Baptist University and a M.Ed. in Higher Education with a concentration in counseling from Dallas Baptist University. i worked at UNT previously as an undergraduate academic advisor for the College of Visual Arts & Design. Most recently, I lived in Seattle, WA and worked as an advisor at North Seattle Community College and as an advising intern at the University of Washington's Information School.

Non-Academic Interests
I enjoy softball when I can get a chance to play, watch American Idol obsessively, have dabbled in salsa dancing, and love grabbing coffee with friends.
