Profile

Iman Naderi is a Ph.D. Candidate (Marketing) and Teaching Fellow at the University of North Texas. His main area of research is consumer psychology and decision making, with his current focus on social influence, conspicuous consumption, and social aspects of green consumption. He has published in the International Journal of Consumer Studies, International Journal of Housing Markets and Analysis, and proceedings of the AMA Summer and Winter Educators’ Conferences as well as the Academy of Marketing Science Conference, among others. In addition to an MBA, Naderi has a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and minored in Business Anthropology, giving him a solid background in mathematics, statistics, and qualitative research techniques. His teaching interests and experiences include Marketing Research, Consumer Behavior, Product and Brand Management, and E-tailing. Before joining the Ph.D. program at UNT, he was involved in a number of consultancy projects in the field of business and marketing strategy for more than two years.
