Spring 2012 Business Career and Internship Fair
The College of Business will be partnering with the UNT Career Center to host a career and internship fair specifically for business majors on Wednesday, February 22th. The event will be from 3 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the UNT Coliseum.
Resume Book
COB students are encouraged to have their resume in the Spring 2012 Resume Book for preview by the employers in attendance at the fair. The COB Resume Book gives students an advantage over students not in the Resume Book because the book is an exclusive compilation of student resumes that employers have access to before stepping foot on campus for the fair. In other words, over 100 employers can view your resume before they meet you, which could potentially lead to an interview for you while the employer is on campus for the fair. Resume book deadline is Monday, February 20th, 2012.
If you would like your resume to appear in the COB Resume Book, you must complete the form below as well as upload your resume on the UNT Career Center home page.

Have several copies of an updated resume available to recruiters.

Appropriate dress is business attire (interview attire).

Carry a professional looking portfolio or small briefcase with something to write on and a professional pen to write with.

Follow-up with recruiters that you made contact with at the fair.

Do research on employers/companies that you are interested in visiting with at the fair.

Ask questions. Sell yourself.

To sell yourself, you have to know yourself.

Be prepared to promote your skills, experiences, values and qualifications.

Be confident.

Have a firm handshake.

Smile and show interest.

Be aware of your body language.
