Internships
There are two programs to help you get experience and launch your accounting career! The requirements are below:
1) Accounting Internship Program (for academic credit)
- For 3 hours of Academic Credit
- Work full-time during fall, spring or summer semesters
- See “Accounting Internship Program Application” below for requirements, application process, etc.
- Applications accepted year-round for all internship positions. It is recommended that you complete the Accounting Internship Interest Survey 6 months-2 years before beginning your internship.
2) Non-Credit Accounting Internships
- Part-time positions in Accounting in fall, spring, or summer semesters
- Multiple semesters of work available
- To get started, visit the UNT Career Center’s Eagle Network to search for Accounting Internships.
Both programs are well paid and provide valuable experience. These positions also frequently result in permanent full-time employment upon graduation.
