Beginning in May 2024, RCOB Undergraduate Programs will be transitioning to a major-based advising system. This means that each student will have a dedicated team who specializes in their chosen field of study. We believe this tailored approach will provide you with more targeted guidance and support as you navigate your academic journey.

Moving forward, you will be scheduling Academic Advising Appointments with your Major’s Advisors. You will continue to schedule appointments through your Navigate App. Should you encounter any scheduling issues, please don’t hesitate to contact our front desk at (940) 565-2110. If you have already attended an appointment for Summer and Fall 2024 enrollment, there is no need to attend another appointment!

The RCOB Undergraduate Programs Office offers students an on-campus and virtual advising experience.

• Current RCOB Students:
  • Drop-in advising: Undergraduate Programs will host virtual-only same-day, drop-in advising for students needing assistance for Summer/Fall 2024 registration. Upcoming drop-ins will be hosted on the following dates/times (additional drop-in times will continue through the end of March 2024 and into April 2024 – dates will be posted as the time approaches):
    • Drop-Ins for the remainder of April/start of May
      • Monday, April 15th: 8:30-11:00 AM & 1:00-4:00 PM
      • Thursday, April 18th: 8:30-11:00 AM & 1:00-4:00 PM
      • Monday, April 22nd: 1:00-4:00 PM (PM ONLY)
      • Thursday, April 25th: 8:30-11:00 AM & 1:00-4:00 PM
      • Friday, May 3rd: 8:30-11:00 AM

      The sign-in button is available 15 minutes before the start of each drop-in session. Sign-in for drop-ins will close once all availability has been filled for the morning or afternoon.

• Appointments: Undergraduate Programs offers scheduled appointments in-person, as well as virtual options. Scheduled appointments in Denton, Frisco and online for future planning are available now. You may schedule an appointment through the EAB Navigate app or by visiting unt.navigate.eab.com. Appointments release for scheduling 21 days in advance.
  • Advising at UNT at Frisco: In-person appointments will be offered Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday during the fall/spring semesters. Appointments are booked via Navigate under the Service Type "RCOB General Advising @ Frisco Landing." We are unable to change in-person Frisco appointments to Denton or virtual. Please sign up for the appropriate method of advising you are seeking. Additionally, you may sign into the queue for drop-in advising as listed above.
• On-call Advisor: An on-call advisor is available virtually on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:00-11:00 AM and 2:00-4:00 PM to answer quick questions only (not full advising sessions). To connect, go to https://unt.zoom.us/my/rcob.oncall.

• Graduation Checks: If you are planning to graduate in Summer or Fall 2024 or if you are a BS Accounting student transitioning to the MS program, you may request a graduation check virtually. No appointment needed! Login here to submit your request. An advisor will send the completed grad check to your UNT email account.
• UNT Student Changing Major to RCOB from Another College: (This is NOT for current RCOB majors, including Pre-Business and Business Undergraduate): Visit the Change Major page for details.
